Declaration of consent and non-disclosure agreement

Crowdhouse AG (hereinafter «Crowdhouse») conducts regular user studies to improve the products and services offered by Crowdhouse as well as the user experience. You intend to participate in such a user study with the following purpose – evaluating the usability of our prototypes (hereinafter «study»). This study is expected to be conducted from January 2022 to December 2022.

This informed consent and confidentiality statement (hereinafter «statement») governs your participation in this study.

1. Voluntary participation

By signing this declaration, you declare to Crowdhouse that you voluntarily participate in this study. You may withdraw from your participation in the study at any time and without giving any reason. Upon your withdrawal from the study, Crowdhouse will delete the personal data collected from you up to that point.

2. Type of data collection and data retention

As part of the study, Crowdhouse will conduct interviews and/or user tests with you. Audio and/or video recordings will be made in the process. In addition, the interviews and/or user tests may be logged by the Crowdhouse staff conducting the study. The collected data is for internal purposes only and will be treated confidentially. In addition, only those Crowdhouse employees who are involved in conducting the study have access to the collected personal data. Other employees may be provided with this data on an anonymous basis, e.g. as part of a presentation on the results of the study.

The personal data collected from you will not be made available to third parties without your consent.

By agreeing to this statement, you explicitly consent to Crowdhouse to the collection of the data described above and processing it during and after the end of the study for the purpose of improving the products and services offered by Crowdhouse and enhancing the user experience. In addition, you agree that audio and/or video recordings may be made.

3. Access to confidential information and documents

As part of the study, you will have access to strictly confidential information and documents (hereinafter «information») in written, electronic, oral or other form.

By signing this statement, you agree to the following terms and conditions in connection with this information:

  • I will keep all information confidential for an indefinite period of time and will not disclose it to any third party without Crowdhouse’s written consent.
  • I will take all necessary steps to prevent any unauthorized disclosure or use of the information.
  • Upon Crowdhouse’s request, I shall promptly destroy or return all information (including copies) received.
  • I will notify Crowdhouse of any breach of these terms and conditions immediately upon becoming aware of it.
  • The foregoing terms do not apply to information, which are already or after receipt become publicly known without breach of this statement.

4. Further provisions

If at any time any provision of this declaration is or becomes void, invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remainder of the declaration shall not be affected thereby. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the economic and legal purpose of the invalid provision. This declaration is exclusively subject to Swiss substantive law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
